Essential cookies
CarShows.online uses a secure session cookie (CSSESSID) for login state, account security and CSRF protection. These functions are necessary for authenticated organizer, checkout and admin features.
Saved shows and checklists
Saved Shows and interactive enthusiast checklists use browser localStorage. These preferences stay in that browser unless you clear them. Saving an event does not create an attendee account or send a saved-event list to the server. When you open the Saved Shows page, the browser requests the current public details for the event IDs stored locally so the page can display them.
Analytics preference
If the operator configures GA4, the site presents an analytics choice. Selecting “Allow analytics” stores analytics_consent=1; selecting “Essential only” stores analytics_consent=0. The preference lasts up to one year unless cleared in your browser.
First-party operational metrics
The application maintains first-party operational metrics such as page path, referring domain, device category, event-page counts and aggregate event-share actions. The default application analytics/share tables do not contain a raw IP-address field.
Browser location
“Near me” features request browser location only after you choose a location action and your browser grants permission. The event-map feature uses that location in your browser to sort and center mapped events. CarShows.online does not intentionally write that attendee location into its application database.
Changing your choices
You can clear CarShows.online cookies and site storage through your browser. Blocking essential session cookies may prevent account and checkout features from working. You can also deny or revoke location permission through your browser or device settings.
